I just purchased some door windlace, how are you supossed to install this stuff?

    Im redoing my entire interior on my 69 122. $40.00 to have a good upholstery pro put in the windlace. Not an easy job. Good Luck,I tried but failed.

    To do it as it left the factory, you have to pull the headliner... I know that was what you wanted to hear...

    I put some in my two door. I pulled the plate on the roof column (behind the door), side panel (next to rear seat, door sill plate, kick panel (where you pop the hood) but I didn't pull the head liner. I simply pushed the comb of the windlace up in the gap between headliner and body with a rounded bit of steel banding. Be careful not to pull the headliner when you do this and rip it. The windlace stays in place pretty good but I have to tuck it back up in spots every few months...
