My 66 Sedan kind of shutters or shall I say sputters when I am accelerating. It seems that the carbs kind of hesitate whn I am driving at higher RPM's or at least trying to get to higher RPMs. Any suggestions?

Might be water in the fuel. You can sometimes pick it up from a small gas station with a near empty tank. Use a busy one to minimise the risk. Worth draining the tank to check.
Also check the small low tension wire on the coil. Check that both ends are solid and secure.

Can you start another thread and explain...something about a shop doing a poor job, being badmouthed for it on the forum, the shop whining about being badmouthed and threatening to hold the forum responsible...can you elaborate?

In addition to what George recommended, you'll want to make sure that your carbs are synched up and adjusted correctly. Also, you may want to ensure that your ignition system is in good working order as that can cause sluggish acceleration:

Fresh tune up (dist. cap, rotor, points, condensor, plugs, wires, ignition timing), fuel filter, air filters (may as well change them out while you're mucking around with the carbs).

Could very well be either you don't have oil in the dashpots or the carbs are
maladjusted.

I agree with George. Top off the oil in the carbs and marvel at the absence of lean stumble. ;-)
