I did ! it took 8 quarts before the brown turned pink, and I recommend this method to all with 240 automatics...thanks to the brickboard and especially Dave Shannon,

    I have used the same method for years on my '86 240, but use about 15 qts. I also do it on my daughter's '94 850 and my wife's '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee...
    Never any problems.
