Turns out the cable is good from the interior handle to the rear of the car, just need the cable assembly that attaches to the main cable and runs to the wheels. Searched some parts sources on the web but looks like no one has it for IRS, guess i'll have to go to Volvo in my area for it... Would anyone have a diagram/pic/microfiche of how this should be installed? TIA Tom 27940aholic

Hi

Similar car here but mine has solid axle and turbo. My daughters e-brake cable broke when teaching her some winter driving tips. Found them at advance auro for $16 and also at Ipdusa.com

Yes, I checked IPD and they only listed them for solid axle, none for irs type rear suspension... Thanks Brian.. My friend owns an Import parts store in town, will have to see if he can source them for me.. Tom 27940aholic
