Recent ice storms have chewed up my 240 sedan's wiper blades. Can somebody recommend a good brand and source for good-fitting replacements. Thanks!

    I seem to get 5 years out of a set of Bosch blades. We use them on both 240's and 740's.

    I have historically not been all that impressed with Bosch micro-edge blades, but I tried their Excel+ on a couple of my cars this year and they seem to work quite well. They don't seem to get stiff when cold (but then again, they are still pretty new). They are too narrow to fit your old holders so you have to buy the complete blade the first time, so that will run you about $7.50 each if you buy them on line.

    I've always had excellent results with the Bosch blades. I wait until they have a great 1/2 sale somewhere and replace them every 6 months.

    hello john,
    amco wiper blade refills --16 inch, walmart. $3-4 something. a consumable. no need to spend a lot of money. buy some spares for the garage.
