Turning signals and hazard lights would intermittently stop flashing, but only stay on. I found an old thread from 2002 in the brickboard archives:



that mentions "flasher relay", and there is even a picture of it.
Unfortunately, I could not find anything searching for this keyword in any of the part places on the internet, that I usually go to.
Does anyone happen to have a part # for it? Is "flasher relay" a seprate piece with its own part#, or is it replaced together with the switch?

The copy of VADIS shows hazard switch to be similar to the rest of the dashboard switches, and no flasher relay.

What is the trick to pull the hazard switch out of the dash without damaging the trim? Do I have to take any of the fake wood panels out, or do I have to just pry the switch out of the dash?

    I had the same problem for a while. Somone told me to make sure my tail alights weren't leaking water inside. In fact, one of them had been cracked open for a while, and I was too lazy to get it fixed. I replaced the lamp and the blinky problem fixed itself right up.

    It is in the switch.

    Take a small screwdriver and pry the switch out from the bottom of the switch. It should come out fairly easy.

    After-market wood trim can get in the way if it overlaps, but factory wood trim will not.

      HELP !!! I have the same problem. I even ALREADY have the part. NO ONE can tell me where the flasher relay is located on my 1998 S90. I have removed the fuse location, removed the console, removed the radio... can not find it. Does ANYONE out there know exactly where it is and how i can access it ?

        I've heard that it was in the Hazard button, or under the console, neat the pedals. I would go or the easy one first.
