front wheel Noise 700 1986

Hoping someone might be able to help diagnose a sound coming from the right front wheel. It almost sounds like something is loose in the passenger side wheel well. Kind of a loose rattle. I hear it in idle and when I'm turning to the left and some times when driving stright. Don't hear it at all when starting form a stop or turnign right. Though it might be a wheel bearing had it checked but all was good. Not sure what it could be? Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

After doing a lot of unnecessary work found out it is the exhaust pipe hitting the frame! I guess I have another project! Those sounds are hard to locate!!!!
    Thanks for all the input.

The location of noises is really hard to determin sometimes from inside the car. I had an intermittant loud screetching sound coming from what I swore was the right front caliper. I regreased the sliders twice before I got my wife to stand by the car as I drove buy. (Funny, she couldn't get her to run alongside it.) Turned out the noise was coming from a loose metal dust shield on the driveshaft support bushing.

A loose rattle on passenger side could also be a loose heat shield on exhaust manifold (if you haven't removed the preheater hose/stove) or on exhaust pipe. Had this happen on a 240 before I removed the stove/preheater hose.

Have you jacked up the wheel and spun it?
Is the dust shield bent and rubbing or the brake caliper sticking
There's not much else unless the hub/bearing is shot.

    Bill
