Does any body know the difference b/w the red bulb failure sensor, one is tailer, is one better then the other?

I've seen the different types you mention in the boneyard.
They are famous for bad solder joints. You can pop the cover and resolder them.
If the bulb out idiot light comes on,
check your parking, brakelights ,and low beams.
Replace bulbs in matched pairs.
Remove both brake light sockets- see what happens
make sure the white socket is on the right and the black on the left.
They are NOT WIRED ALIKE
