brakes 200 1989

Don't know what overcame me but I decided I needed to fix the handbrake(I never use it)The LR caliper needed replaced and in bleeding system one of the LF caliper bleed screws broke so I now have new calipers on the left side. After bleeding 4X still had a pedal the went slowly to the floor. Master Cylinder I thought...replaced that and still was unable to get a hard, stable pedal. No leaks, no fluid in booster. What don't I understand about what is going on?
