240 fuel press regulator 200 1993

Gotten feedback from Brickboard and every internet site incl Groton. 240's use "regular" fprs vs. Regina - round ignition coils as well.

BUT, my current part has no recognizable #, AND is threaded vs. push on - was told it is a Regina/Hybrid - experiment on some 1993's by Volvo OR rigged by previous owner - to solve fuel smell and install new fpr, need threads - only thru import place in CA at this time.

I know whick fuel pressure reg. you may have. I purchased one olnline supposedly spec'd for my '88 240GL. Mine uses a push in type. I think the older B21/23's may haved used this one. I know that Volvo changed the fuelrail in '89 with a "loop" rather than a single feed into the rail. The '89 and up rails have an extra fuel line into the rail. I don't need this part. I could take a pic and get the part no. of it Sat EDT and email it to you. If it fits we can deal.

Regina was never installed on a 240 in any flavor to my knowlege. Though Regina 740/940's have the same type of push-in FPR as Bosch cars (slightly different part, though).

Do you have LH 2.4 or 3.1 on your 240? (If automatic trans, it's likely 2.4)

I'm guessing the PO modified the fuel rail to accept a threaded FPR? Might save yourself a headache if you just snagged a replacement fuel rail from the boneyard and got a new stock FPR?
