easy question 200

Hi All -

sorry for the noob question but i am not used to working on old 240's even though i absolutely love them. I have an 83' turbo that has old alternator belts that i want to replace. No problem right. I can't loosen the a/c power steering belt. How do you loosen it be it is bolted to the block?

please help.

thanks

brant

take the front crank pulley apart. don't misplace the shims, they set the A/C belt tension.

        sup andy -

the black car. Those belts are driving me nuts. I got the belt loose without taking the pully completely off. Unfortunately nobody in town has those belts in stock (losers). So it will be back together tomorrow at 8:00 am.

By the way smith doesn't know I am working on his car. Don't tell him! He would probably kill me.

didn't know you were on bb. Awesome.

        See ya soon.

        brant
