Laughing stock of the board dumb question :)...........NOT

Not such question. ALL questions have the possibility of there being one or more other folks who would like an answer but have not asked.

Now that you know which Volovs are tagged "bricks", you may wonder why.

#1 They look like a brick

#2 They ride like a brick - if you're used to a bwick

#3 The last like a brick. And that one isn't a subjective call.

Regards,

Bob

Well, by some sense, they are all called bricks.

More specific, well, are the brick-shaped cars, i. e. 140, 164, 240, 700, and 900.

makes sense. Thanks Ironically, my wife , who was a Volvo fan for numerous reasons before I knew her or even cared about a Swedish made car also described them as a car that looks as a child would draw one (very square etc.) but don't get me wrong, she likes the way they look especially the 900's. I believe the term "brick" was first applied to the 200 series, and that the 700/900 cars are essentially bricks by association. To me the earlier 700 cars look more like bUicks.
