S90 transmission making a squealing noise S90-V90

loud squealing noise originating at the transmission, car drives fine just squeals loudly. what should i be looking at? I am going to go at it tomorrow.

    I doubt the transmission would ever squeal. When does it squeal? Does it aqueal in all gears? reverse? neutral? Is the pitch synchronous with engine rpm or road speed. Possible the center drive shaft support bearing or rubber donut may squeal. Belts OK?

      noise does change with engine rpm. it does do it while standing still or moving. belts are good(that is what the sound is like though)

        You may have a timing belt ready do go south-if it fails be looking to have about 3 grand to have a new head put on you engine. I would advise you to have some one who knows your type of car do an inspection of the timing belt and pullies that go with it. The valves will hit the top of the pistons and bend if the belt fails while the engine is turning over.

          I replaced the T-belt and all pulleys a few weeks ago.
