Pressostat Bad? 900 1994

Sometimes the AC compressor does not start. When I checked the pressure with one of those simple guages, the pressure was right on the border between blue and yellow. When I disconnect the wire to the pressostat abd reconnect it, the compressor starts. Does this mean that the pressostat is bad? This is an aftermark one that I installed about two years ago.

    It sounds fishy--I'd replace it. Diagnostics past that point would be tough, unless you can establish pressures when the compressor is running.
