the leak is right at the nut where the metal part of the line is joined to the compressor,the metal line at the nut is almost broken in two,I can wiggle it ,what is the logical do it yourself approach to this situation,or is there one?has anyone tackled this problem?...make it a great day,Kris

    Replace the line, buy the Volvo kit, retrofit to R134a.
