Where to get brake backing plates?... 200

Starting a front brake job and mine are in bad shape, lots of holes rusted through. Any ideas of aftermarket suppliers? TIA

I just put the part number for the main plate in this site. It came back with a price of 24.43 each. Couldn't find the small ones though. Might have to call them.

Arrrgh!!! I hope you can find some for a resonable price. I'm not trying to discourage you but I couldn't locate anyone selling these when I was looking for them earlier this year. So I went to the dealer.
88.56 w/ tax total for the two.
You may or may not know this but there are two smaller pieces that attach with the same fasteners. You'll see them if you haven't already. If the big plates are rusted these probably will be too. Those were a total of $97.54. more money for less metal. Must be a supply & demand thing. I was pressed for time so I bit the bullet and paid.
Seriously, find a late model year that's being parted and latch onto these pieces.
Part #'s if you're interested are: 1272469 for the big "protecting plate"; 1272102 for the smaller "protector plate". Maybe that will at least help in an aftermarket search.

Tasca price for small plate 1272102-3 200

By trying different check digits (the "dash number") to 1272102 (small plate), I came up with this at
      gwtvovoparts.com

Item Number MSRP Core Price Price
      12721023 $39.65 $0.00 $26.90

      PROTECTOR PLATE

Yes, my invoice has a -3 after the part #.
What is that 'check digit' for anyway, Bruce?

I believe it's to verify the part number itself. Some king of computation is applied to the PN digits (like +1, +2, +1, +2, etc.,) then the check digit is added to the resulting sum to produce a known final sum/amount. If any of the PN digits are wrong, the final answer will be wrong too, indicating an invalid PN.
Google will probably give you a better answer than that ;o)
I'm going to try "check sum digit" myself.
