The elusive oil leaks of the 740 GLE 700 1989

The usual story....interference engine, broken timing belt, bent valves. Redid all, but still have an annoying oil leak on the unit that holds the cams. Rocker cover is tight. PCV/breather is clear. Took apart and added a tiny bit of hi-temp sealer (though this piece does not use a gasket), still no good. Anyone come across a solution for this?

It does use a gasket,a chemical gasket from a tube.Make sure sealing surfaces have no gouges, burrs or old gasket and apply new pink chemical with a small roller.Good luck,Bill
