A tribute to my 1980 240. small story...cars do have souls 200

So before I bought my first Volvo( 75 240), I drove a very odd, for the US, 1971 Peugeot 304 - front wheel drive---by the way the best snow car I've ever owned. The Puegeo( Pierre...I was young and????) failed due to rusting of the very thin monocoque structure: the rear axle collapsed into the body... but this happened in my driveway!!!! (I lived at the time on a potholed dirt road). It could have failed on the highway at 60mph, ending prematurely my subsequent posts on this board.

So today, one of my Volvo babies, the 1980 240, turned 227K just as I piloted it up the very same driveway into my garage... :)

Happy 227K to my car. Automobile Karma?
