Continuing power window problems

I am still struggling with figuring out my power window issue that I posted last week and I am dumbfounded. Here is the problem. My power windows began working intermittently. They either all work or none of them work. So it's all or nothing. Now it is rare for them to work at all, maybe once a month they will kick on. I have cleaned the switches as described in the faq's. I took out the motor and reg out of the drivers door and tested it and it works fine. I used a test light on all the connections ie the switch down to the motor and I had current to the motor when I hit the switch. I checked, cleaned and changed fuse 10 (power window fuse) and 12 (window relay fuse) and all is well. I changed the power window relay and it didnt help. I dont know what else is left to check. I am ready to torch the car. It doesnt make sense. I called IPD today and the guy thought it had to be bad switches. And I said how could they all be bad and then all be good. This is where I get lost and maybe it is lack of electrical knowledge. I tried taking different switches from different doors in the car and none of them worked. Can someone help me figure this out before I go nuts. Philski

Continuing power window problems

I haven't investigated this on a schematic but I read somewhere that ALL the windows are powered through the driver's door. Try running a 12V jumper to the power terminal at the driver's door. If the windows work the task becomes finding where the 12V gets lost on the power side. If it doesn't work try jumpering the ground side to chassis ground. If the windows work now, find the break on the ground side. If neither jumper proves out stay on the track of power and ground. The fault has to be one or the other to effect all the windows.
