Problem with Starting 200

I have a 1988 240 sedan. Never had a days trouble out of it until today. It will not start. It has been about 5 days since I last ran it. I checked the fuses and all seem to be good. I turn on the key but do not hear the fuel pump engage. I replaced the fuel pump relay and no luck. If I keep the key on like I am trying to start it, I smell a little bit of gasoline. I have an extra ecu, have thought about putting that one on just to see. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as always.

Todd :-)

    Problem with Starting 200

Before you blame the computer, have you checked for spark? One thing unique about Volvos, if the battery isn't up to speed, it will give all the symptoms of a good battery, but won't start.

I went out this morning and it fired right up. Must be the in-tank fuel pump.
