I've given up on aftermarket down/head pipes. If you are in or near Western NC, look up Scott's Muffler in Lexington, NC. I took the car to him for an entire exhaust system, he ordered a aftermarket head pipe from his supplier, quickly realized it was sooo far off it wouldn't fit, so he built one from scratch for less money that is simply gorgeous! Do a search on "header pipe"; with any luck the thread will show up that way.

What I did learn from having my good indy shop replace two header pipes on 240s - there's a mount to a bracket to the auto transmission. Probably same for standard tranny. Aftermarket header pipes usually don't align properly with the attachment bracket. Not really a problem as long as you don't leave the bracket and header pipe sitting alongside each other without being attached - they will knock and vibrate. So cut off bracket or modify the attachment point so you can bolt them together firmly.
