Scan-Tech Bushings from IPD 120-130

I guess I should have been sure I was ordering Poly from IPD, but I was thinking rubber bushings would be better (and cheaper) for my suspension anyway.

The new bushings for my rear torque rods and trailing arms arrived and I was looking over everything when I noticed that the brand on these are "Scan-Tech"

I recall from the 940 and 240 boards that the Scan-Tech brand is not so "wonderful" compared to say Skandix, or OEM volvo stuff. Does anyone have any opinions on the product? I doubt IPD would sell it if it were junk, but you never know.

Scan-Tech Bushings from IPD 120-130

Dave Shannon once wrote a pretty convincing article where he compared the 200 series trailing arm bushings from Scan-Tech, Volvo and Boge. To sum it up; you don't want Scan-Tech for your 240. Are their offerings for the Amazon perhaps of better quality? Well, I for one wouldn't take the chance.

Scan-tech has a dubious reputation to say the least. I've heard of upper strut mounts giving out within weeks of installation on 240 series cars. I've also heard that some of their stuff is reasonable. I guess you pays your $$ and takes your chances.

If you want poly, email me. I sell SuperPro bushings as well. I can knock 30 to 40% off IPD's prices...
