I have a digital ambient temp gauge and sensor that I pulled at the pick-n-pull several months ago. It has been just sitting waiting for me to get around to installing it. I finally got a chance to mess with it over the weekend and decided to test it before going to the trouble to run the wiring from behind the dash up front to the sensor which is on a mount theat attaches to the charcoal canister. Anyway, I tried connecting it to 12V power and ground and also connected the two green sensor wires (I dont think it matters which way yhe green wires are connected, but I tried both ways anyway). I dont get any display at all though. Has anyone worked on one of these gauges? Any ideas for next steps to test the unit? I took a look at the two circuit boards inside the gauge and didn't see anything that looked obviously broken/burned, etc- but I am not at all knowledgeable about electronics. Kind of hate to give up on this gauge since they are pretty uncommon!
