wheel fit 140-160 1968

I was wondering if anyone has put 17X7 wheels with a positive 40 offset on their 140. If so were any modifications necessary?
Thanks,

Chris w. 68 142S

    wheel fit 140-160 1968

Had T5R wheels on my 145, 142 and 1800ES. Used 1 inch spacers purchased from the The Lugnut King in California. Spacers were very high quality. No problems - even with the 145, which is pretty darn low.

wheel fit----yup I did it, drive it everyday. 140-160 1971

I have Volvo Canisto (late 90's S70) with 225/40/17 on them. I also have Jon Parkers performance springs. I had custom spacers make to correct for the FWD offset. They are 1" thick. In the rear I rolled the inside of the wheel well. You can't see any change from this modification from the outside. They work great, look great and the car is much more fun to drive with some rubber on the road!!!
