heater blower motor 1990 240 200

My blower motor is start to make a low squeal at the low speed, when I turn to number 2 or higher it goes away, is this the first symptom of the motor wearing out?

I looked at Art Bernsteins site for removal replacement, it doesn't look to bad, just tedious and time consuming. And the motor price seems reasonable from the online dealers. Looks like a good days work

Im planning on just letting keep going for now, and not rush into a replacement, unless someone gives me a reason to change now.

thanks

Just wait till it is unbearable. Mine squealed horribly for a few months, and now has quieted down to nothing for a few years. Also it's possible to drill a hole into the blower and apply lube. See archives...
