The 240 I sold to the girl who was in a tough spot financially about 6 months ago GAVE me back the 240 for ZERO DOLLARS, the car arrived this morning.
I sold her the 240 for 1400.00 last June when she didn't have alot of money and I left her put 500.00 down and make payments at her convenience until she had the car paid for. Well, she started her own residential cleaning business and since that time she has not only paid for the 240 but, she is raking in between 1800.00 and 2000.00 per week - She went out and paid cash for a fairly new Hyundai Sonata.
So she called up and asked if "I would to have the Volvo back" - since she knew how much I liked the car and the condition was excellent. She knew I did not want to part with the car when she drove away - so, she GAVE it back to me !
It is out in the driveway now. Waiting for winter to pass so I can get outside to go through it from top to bottom and front to back - I don't know if I will sell it again and turn it into a Les Paul or if I will keep it as a back up vehicle.
The wife drives the 2002 Dodge Dakota Sport 4 Door PU - she doesn't understand our affintiy with the Bricks, so driving a Volvo to her doesn't really provide her with the spirituality we get from our beloved Bricks.
AnywaYS, I am jsut happy to have another Volvo in my life - and it was a free one at that, the ZEN and Karma of Volvoism is true happiness.
