Tick Tock - Clock Issues ....... 200

Hello all. My clock had been acting up over past month but re-setting it in mornings got it going again. Well ironically yesterday on same day that daylight savings time ended my clock ended/died . '86 240 sedan stick shift. The large clock. Okay so I put in clock from spare cluster I have which last tryed over a year ago worked fine. Still no good. This clock is not working either. So maybe it is not clock but problem elsewhere ? How do I check/figure this out ? Just in case my spare replacement clock also is bad I just found & bought on E Bay for $12 another clock which seller claims is 100% fine. Should be here hopefully by weeks end. However in meantime I would like to see what problem might be in case problem is not clock itself. Thank you in advance for your advice & help with this. P.S. - Happy Halloween

I had a similar issue recently. I had co-incidently cleaned my fuse contacts for the winter and my clock problem ended.
