Tranny mounts? 200 1982

I'm changing out my old and tired motor mounts on the 245 and figure that the transmission mount probably needs to be changed as well. Can someone tell me the procedure for changing the tranny mount? Is it pretty easy to do?

Thanks.

place a jack under the rear of the tranny and raise to support/take strain off mount....remove nut at trans...loosen nut at center support cross member...remove 2 bolts on either side of center support and remove...note postion of trans mount and remove...replace w/new mount...replace cross member...replace nut at tranny.

        PS
the hardest part is remounting the cross member... for me it always involved full body/use knees...an assistant with another jack can helps. by the way, while you've got the xmember out you should check the condition of the center bearing rubber support, esp it you're replacing old rubber... a cause of drive shaft
sagging/u-joint strain. If you're inclined, you can also grease the center bearing if you have a needle attachment for a grease gun. The bearing is "sealed" with rubber on each side. with a needle you can slip past the rubber seal and inject some grease. :)

Why oh why dont't they make 240s anymore :(
