Winter Car - My daughter is in Buffalo also 444-544

My daughter, Chris is living in Buffalo. She is a wildlife biologist and works for an environmental company.

She drives a teal 855 with beige trim and a black R model front bumper. She will have beige hubcaps this winter. If you select 850 in the picture gallery, her car Gayorg is only down 4 or 5 pictures, my 855R, Isabel is the next one down.

She had no heat for three days, and her parking lot was not plowed until the second day after the storm.

The upside was her 1-year-old lab jumped around for 2 hours playing in the snow the first time he went out!

Good luck with potential damage to your PV.

We should be bringing her snow tires up in a couple of weeks. (evidently late)
Good thing she is a great driver, accustomed to snow.

WOW Christopher, it's hard to believe that's the same car we saw at Lake Placid. Thanks for sharing the pictures of the snow storm's devastation. I'm sure it's hard for southerners to realize the hazards of living up north, as much as we cannot relate to the damage of a hurricane. Take care.

Hope Virgil's hood is OK where that branch landed on it.

Looks like you need to buy a Volvo 'Snow Weasel':

(It has a B18 in it!)

Ouch.
I suspect Virgil will come through ok.
Although the branch on the hood is intimidating.
How many inches eventually fell? Thought I heard around 30".
Interesting that the leaves are still green!
Good Luck digging out.
