Serviced Flame Trap S90-V90

Hello,

Today I took apart the intake hoses, cleaned/washed them all. Took apart the flame trap and replaced it with a new one, Then I took throttle body cleaner and sprayed the crap out of the throttle body, and brushed with a tooth brush. My question is I noticed a little oil in the bottom of the intake manifold looking through the throttle body. Is this normal? My flame trap wasent in great shape but it also was not plugged. I started the car without any of the intake piping on and I could see little bits of smoke coming through the hose that hooks up to the flame trap. Is this normal?

Anything else I should look at replacing in this area??
Thanks,

Perfectly normal, perfectly healthy. Most 960s have some oil in the bottom of the intake manifold. Its just a fact of life. Some people install a "catch can" to separate out the blow by oil from the intake.
