Ouch!! My eyeballs hurt. I have a 244 but if I had a wagon I too would fill the rear with 2x 15" subs. I believe the "GT-R" emblem is from a Toyota Celica? This is obviously another case of: "dad didn't buy me the new honda/acura rice mobile I wanted, so I'll make sure everyone knows I hate this volvo I'm stuck with by making it as ugly as humanly possible"! Oh well just my opinion. I'm actually envious of you, where I live I have the only 240 around and no one to to hang out with and "prater volvo". Sometimes going to the pick and pull brightens my day as there are many volvos there that I can relate to and none of those S-40/60 atrocities.

Man, dad's gonna be pissed about the flames. Hope that's watercolor paint.

I like that GT-R logo though...

I agree about the gold cars - I don't like the color at all. Mom just bought a gold Chrysler 300 - sick, SICK thing to do to one of the most stylish (IMO) cars produced in years.

Dad's 245 that I cut my teeth on is gold - I hated the color then, too. Just personal taste, gold made me either feel like Mr. T going down the road or a soccer mom. Tried to get Dad to let me paint the wagon blaze orange or something, but he likes the gold.

Actually there is one HUGE plus - with the pollen like it is in VA, metallic gold is the one color that never shows how dirty it is.

I can only think that a guy who has as clean and classy looking Volvo as do you, that you are being facetious or sarcastic here.

If not I apologize. I think the owner has uglified it but that's just my taste!

Pff, you should see the gigantic wing on the Honda that parks a couple spaces away from that poor 940. You could use this thing to keep an ultralight in the air.

Now that's what this 940 needs - a big wing on the roof.

Ahh yes. The old Tiger Tails. Back in the UK we also used to have 'checker tape' about 1" wide, black and white or even red and white check, run along the beltline to compliment said Tiger Tails and enhance the hotness factor and actually make cars go faster! Honest! Sorry I don't have any pics! LOL.
