740 RADIO CODE

Good Day Folks;
I was going to upgrade the OEM CR718 radio in my 740 to a newer CD unit, but until then I would like to resurrect the OEM radio. Can anybody out there give me some advice on decoding? I saw a web site last week that offered a decode programme (for free) and I have lost it. I have already disassembled the radio to get the diode configuration inside.

Best Regards;

    You have to call the dealer- give them the serial number from the radio, if it's not original, or the VIN of the car, if it is original.

    The service department will be able to look up the code- then you type it in using the preset buttons, and you're all set.
