One day my 84 244 GLT decided that it didnt want to run right.
Lost accel power completely! The odd thing is I can do a brake
stand hand have good boost but when I try to move forward it
chokes it self out and tries to die. I tested the fuel pumps like this:
The car was running at idle I tested the in tank by unplugging it and the
car stalled. The outer fuel pump I unplugged the car stalled again. The
green fuel pump relay was warm to the touch... is it going out?

Hey, I'd recommend getting an engine harness from Dave Barton. His webisite is the following. http://www.bartonharness.com/volvoharnesses.html I'm betting he might have a used harness in that you can get for about $180 used. I can tell you his used harnesses are just short of brand new!!! I don't say this in jest, cause my engine harness when rotten too and I ordered a used one from Dave and itz taken care of all my engine harness problems. To be honest my car still isn't running consistantly, if really much at all, but thatz due to ignition problem. Anyhow, check with Dave right away and you might be able to put your car back together this weekend! Hope this helps. Oh and by the way - I think Dave is the president of the Volvo club of Southern California, just so you know hez not just some fruit that happens to sell Volvo wire harnesses.
