240 guy asks simple 740 turbo wagon questions 700

hey fellas,
i'm pretty familiar with the 240s but less so with 7/900s. this is my question: were any 700 or 900 turbo wagons sold in the US with manual transmissions?

if there is such a beast, i want to make that my next car. if not, well i guess i'll just have to settle for an auto :) truth be told, i've never driven a manual volvo, all autos in my past.

many thanks,
darkstar

There are 740T wagons with 4spd+OD transmissions, made for the US market through 1991. The 1992 740's were all automatics, and as far as I can tell all Turbos.

There were also 87-91 740s made with the M47 5-speed for the non-turbo cars.

No 940s or 960s were sold in the US with a manual transmission offered. The rest of the world got these models however.
