I just purchased a mint 1993 940t with 140,000 documented miles. It is great but it stalls under full throttle. It does not stall when I pass approximately 40 mph. I replaced the vacum lines tonight with no help.Is the FPR a suspect?

I had a similar problem in a 240 with a bad air mass meter. It could be running in "limp-home" mode due to a failed AMM.
First I'd inspect and clean the connections on that (6pin plug). Then try a good used one or new if your budget allows. Or try the AMM in another car with the same fuel injection family: LH2.4 is in 89-up 240's as well as 90 up Turbo 700 and 900 models. Other regular 700's most often have Regina and therefore won't have that AMM.

This all assumes there's no black smoke- I assume you'd mention it. If it smokes under throttle, look for a split or hole in a turbo air hose, anywhere on the intake system.
