I am about to begin the process of swapping out a B21 engine. I have not worked on engines for a loooong time so forgive me for asking this seemingly silly question.

Is the torque converter bolted to the flywheel???
I guess what i need to know is do i need to unbolt the torque
converter to pull the engine or does it come out with the engine?

I keep thinking it will, but someone told me i should unbolt it and it stays with the transmission. Now I am confussed.
