1/4 panel needed 200

The insurance company will probably write off my 1980GT as the panel is not available new and not rust free. Does any one know of a rust free right rear 1/4 panel for a 242. Would like to obtain info as soon as possible as Tuesday is the day I start to fight for my baby. Thanks in advance.

Last time I was there I saw a 242 at a local yard. I have no idea what they'd want for a quarter panel. Let me know if you want me to investigate. What part of Canada?

You could get one from Volvo if you have to. I bought a nose piece for a 122 from them about a year ago.

Your Zip Code indicates that a US yard may not be able to help you, but there is a 242 in fairly decent shape in a junkyard near DC.

The Brandywine chain's toll-free telephone number is 866.214.2175. You want to talk to guys at the Foreign Car Parts (FCP) yard in Upper Marlboro, MD. They will check condition and price.

Good luck.

Thanks for the lead, the insurance company will pay if the part is available and auto parts come into Canada at little if any duty.
