960 Intake gasket tips???? 900 1994

the time has has come on one of the 960's to replace the gasket.do the injectors need to come out and the rubber sleeves separated?just looking for any tips from someone that's already been thru this procedure.i've done extensive research in the archives,but found nothing that really lays it out.i do all my own work and want it to be as painless as possible.i thought there used to be a write-up in the FAQ section,if so,i can't find it.the 92 & 94 are about equal in milage at around 230k.there's the horror stories about these fine cars and i guess i just got lucky on my 2 finds.haven't posted much lately due to them running well and also got tired of having to defend all the negative comments of owning the b6304 engine.shouldn't let that get to me,and i refuse to get into those discussions aqain.1st 3 prior bricks were of the 240 flavor(242dl,242t,& 245t) and 3 listed in sig below are still on the road.thanks dave

    Look at my post"Stumbling Idle GONE" dated 1-13-06 at around 0430.I tried to explain the procedure as best I could.I couldn't find any good info on it either.Good luck!

    sorry for the double post.i thought i was posting this in the V/S90 forum.
    i will try to take some pics along the way.haven't quite mastered getting pics from the camera to where i want them to go.i'll take notes also.
    my reason in asking for tips is so i don't make the mistakes that others have learned from(not trying to sound selfish).it is undaunting looking down at the engine knowing that there must be an easier way than simply dis-mantling the entire intake side of the engine.just want to move the mounting surface enough to get the gasket in and minimal removal of parts.i'm really interested in the 45 min version that was found while searching.it didn't go into any detail,however.
