I've lubed these up with lubriplate and can't get rid of the crick-crick sound. Are my hinges going out? Am I lubricating them properly?

The FAQ says something about lubing the spring from below but I can't see anything.

Hinge I find spray on grease works best good luck

The last line in the FAQ for lubing the door hinge suggest taking a screwdriver and lifting the spring slightly. Did the trick!!! The crick is gone.
