122 Brake Conversion...ebay. 120-130

Anyone ever seen one of these? http://cgi.ebay.ca/1968-Volvo-122_W0QQitemZ4583737285QQcategoryZ6458QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I've emailed the seller to see if he'll share the swap procedure (fingers crossed).

Craig

They look a LOT like the brakes on a 164. The ones on my 69 164 are
similar but don't have vented rotors. Not sure why he used Jag parts....

Not sure why the Jag parts, but they are a 4 pot caliper and Jag didn't build them so they won't rust right away (I own a MK2, so I should know!!). I have a set of Wilwood brake calipers that I was going to use on my MK2, now I'm thinking about adapting them to the 122s. Next year...

I think they are Girling. The ones on my 164 are. The one thing I noted
different was that there is a bleeder fitting on the outboard center of
the 164 caliper. You need that with dual path brakes.

Note the stack of washers under one of the caliper mounting bolts. And the bolt blocking off the back circuit of the dual-circuit master cylinder, and it's disconnected vacuum line.

Interesting, but I don't think it is (as yet) operational. And definately overkill for a B20 powered 122, I'd guess.
