ipd lower chassis brace/tie bars 200

Has anyone installed these on their car? Does it require drilling? Did you notice a difference? My car has sway bars and I want to add another upgrade. Thanks.

They do require drilling, and ramps so you can fit the drill under the car.

Installation should be done with weight on the suspension.

I use the upper and lower along with the strut tower plates because my car does a lot of "off pavement" duty and I want the front structure to stay strong. It may or may not be necessary, but it makes me feel better. I notice on pavement that the car has a more stable set in corners, not an "angels from heaven" improvement, but noticeable. That's with 240 turbo sway bars and Boge gas shocks.

The "bang for the buck" sequence is roughly
0. Get all bushings up to par
1. Sway bars
2. 15"+ wheels and good tires
3. Sport Springs & performance shocks
4. Strut to firewall braces
5. Tower to tower brace
6. Lower brace.

4, 5 and 6 are sort of interchangable, but without 0, 1, 2, and 3 you won't notice much difference with the braces. I have gone from bone stock to a fully braced sport setup on several 240s and 245s, do the basics first and you won't be sorry.
