Whining/high pitched wine 900

I just had the serpentine belt, timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, and water pump replaced on my 95 960 sedan. It is several days since I got it back, and there is a low whining noise, and the power steering seems to be getting sluggish. The wining is louder when I turn the steering wheel. I am wondering if the serpentine belt was put on to tight, or the power steering pump is going. Not sure.

Hi guys, thanks for all the help so far. It seems to be the power steering fluid level, likely because of a leak. I understand I can use dextron 3 automatic transmision fluid.

Is there any difference between the volvo and others?

Any ideas where the leak could be?

No difference for your year. The steering fluid is probably "weeping" at the O rings. Just keep it filled and look at the end of the lines once in a while. Doesn't sound serious yet.

      Klaus
