Programming a Remote S90-V90 1998

Are you saying I have to turn the ignition OFF after I turn it on the 5th time?
Never noticed the light blinking.
Does that mean when it is blinking it is ready to accept the button push on the remote?
Do I have to close the door? I had left it open.

S'V', a bit confused but gonna try it anyway.
