What made you think that the ECU was bad? Assuming that the car wouldn't even start initially, then the ECU was probably bad since it will at least run now. Given that, I'd check the connector plug on the AMM. I had one of the little itty bitty prong things slide back when I was pushing the connector back onto the AMM. You'll have to examine the AMM connector closely. If there's a clip prong thingy that's pushed back up into the connector, then you'll need to get a little screwdriver or something to keep it in place when you re-connect the cable.
If it ain't the ECU or the AMM, then I'd start looking at fuel delivery problems, i.e., fuel pump, filter, etc.
