Oil Cooler Cleaning Questions 200

Hello ... The easiest way might be to buy a can of Gunk engine degreaser(spray can)Auto Zone, Discount, etc., then on the way home go by a DIY (do it yourself) Spray Wash, pop the hood-spray thoroughly the cooler fins both sides if possible(remove grill/head lamp surrounds if capable) wait 15 minutes. While waiting figure a way to protect the distributor from most of the water(plastic bag, water-proof cardboard, aluminum flashing or heavy foil)then go at it!!!! Or go home remove it properly and clean it inside/outside in your parts washer. Sounds like it may have a leak or loose fitting to be oily/greasy in the first place. Have fun Gary
