Which heater fan motor do you have, early sealed or late open?

Those bearings only work in sealed heater fan motors.

All PV's and early 122 and 1800 got sealed motors with a 3 piece metal housing where you can't see the windings or magnets and came with a metal fan retained by a set screw.

Later 122 and 1800 got open motors and came with a pressed on plastic fan.
