I'm sorry that didn't go very well. I searched for "volvo 2 pole connector" and that item looked very promising. Without the benefit of a real 960 wiring harness its anybody's best guess.

You could dismantle the sensor's wiring pigtails out from its "one of a kind" connector body then connect them directy to the female pigtails. Cover with electrical tape. This only temporary until you could find a real 960 harness with proper connector.
