I Hear You - But Why? 900

The cylinder head was badly cracked, so I sourced one from a Pick-A-Part yard for $65. Machine Shop charges totaled $405 for head and block servicing. I got parts for Volvo, FCP Euro, Eeuro, Pelican and local stores and did the work myself. No boring was required. All standard size rings and bearings were used for a total cost of about $1,200.
