Maybe not absolute, but in 40+ years I've never got a bad one, speaking of Volvo-specific mechanical parts. Or even plastic that I can recall.

Anything else except OEM (OE Manufacturer, current or former) has proven to be a crap-shoot, in my experience.

With OE parts at a 15% mark-up plus shipping (Tasca) or at a 20% discount with free shipping (Beechmont-VCOA), why gamble on aftermarket quality?
