The others have listed the favorites of most on the list. Word of advice: When in doubt, don't be afraid to ask BrickBoarders about the quality of a part from a given manufacturer. Some parts are the same thing that Volvo gets and puts their name on it and charges more for. This is what people call OEM, or original equipment manufacturer. Like a Bosch distributor cap. Same part that you get from Volvo.
Some parts manufacturers aren't OEM, but are equal in quality, good enough, or a different flavor of the same thing. Shock absorbers are typical example.
Some parts simply suck from a given manufacturer. Rubber bushings are a classic example. Mysterious rubber parts are almost certain to fail on you in the short term.
In short, it's better to ask or research a part a little bit before wasting money, time, sweat, and blood on a part that turns out to be sub par.
